FlipSid3 qualify for CCS league

FlipSid3 Tactics have become the first team to qualify for the CCS Kick-off Season following a 3-1 victory over HellRaisers.

A total of eight teams from across Europe duked it out in the first of two closed CCS qualifiers with hopes of booking their place in the $110,000 league, hosted by PGL.

FlipSid3 Tactics were the first team to reach the grand final after fending off the threats of German duo Team Caseking and mousesports, both by 2-0 scorelines.

From the other side of the bracket came HellRaisers, who beat Space Soldiers 2-0 before edging past Gamers2 in a three-map thriller to set up an exciting final between two CIS sides.

FlipSid3 Tactics will take part in the CCS league 

HellRaisers drew first blood in this best-of-five series as they took the lead with a 16-10 victory on de_inferno, but FlipSid3 responded in convincing fashion and levelled it up with a 16-12 win on de_nuke before thrashing their opponents 16-4 on de_cache and de_mirage.

The second CCS closed qualifier is currently in the semi-final stage, in which dignitas will face AliGon, while CPH Wolves have been pitted against PENTA Sports.
