The first edition of the AlienTech European Cup will start on Monday, with eight teams battling it out for €1,500 in cash prizes.
AlienTech, a Portuguese computer retail store which supports one of the strongest teams in the country, is looking to dig deeper into the Counter-Strike scene by hosting its own cups to provide lesser-known sides with the chance to win cash prizes and to get more exposure.
The opening edition of the AlienTech European Cup will run from August 31 to September 8 and will see eight teams from across Europe compete for the bulk of the €1,500 prize pool.
