Rogue are looking into the possibility of fielding Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann in the ESL Pro League Season 8 Relegation tournament, according to a report from Dust2.dk.
The 24-year-old is earmarked as a potential replacement for Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland, who announced on Wednesday that he will miss the relegation tournament after returning to his home country of Australia to renew his visa.
TENZKI joined ALTERNATE aTTaX only two months ago as a replacement for compatriot Mads "Console" Skovby. He has not featured for the German organisation since captain Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen revealed at the weekend that the team were dealing with "line-up issues".
If the move comes to fruition, TENZKI will reunite with Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen, who was the team's in-game leader during his two spells in Dignitas, between 2015 and 2017. While part of that team, the 24-year-old won DreamHack Tours 2016 and attended two Majors, DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 and ESL One Cologne 2016.
Dust2.us reports that Rogue have already contacted WESA with a view to making an emergency transfer ahead of the relegation tournament. In case their request is denied, the North American team will have to make do with substitute player Michael "Uber" Stapells.
Rogue will have to play the relegation tournament after finishing in 10th place in the regular season. The event will be held at the Mavs Esports Training Facility, in Dallas, on December 5-6, with Singularity being their first opponent in the double-elimination bracket.
